How do I select a charitable organization to support when shopping on AmazonSmile?  On your first visit to AmazonSmile (, you need to select a charitable organization to receive donations from eligible purchases before you begin shopping. You will find the IREPTO listed as Indian Run Elementary School Parent Teachers Organization

How much of my purchase does Amazon donate?  The AmazonSmile Foundation will donate 0.5% of the purchase price from your eligible AmazonSmile purchases. The purchase price is the amount paid for the item minus any rebates and excluding shipping & handling, gift-wrapping fees, taxes, or service charges. School Supplies Sale


All orders are taken pre-order ONLY!

Kits will be delivered to your student’s classroom and be there for the first day of the 2015-2016 school year.

Paper order form sales available May  1 to May 22. Paper order forms are coming home with students this Friday and can be paid with check or cash. Deadline for paper orders is MAY 22.

The PTO will also be selling backpacks and lunch bags as well as any custom items needed for certain grades — such as planners which will be for sale in August at Walk-Thru day (date to be announced later).

PTO General Meeting

Friday, September 5 at 10:00am in the Indian Run School Commons

Come and share your ideas, concerns and get involved! We hope to see you there!

Parent Volunteers

Parent Volunteers may be used throughout the school system for:

A.  One (1) day resource service projects such as a lecture, a demonstration, or assistance on a field trip;

B.  Short term resource service projects;

C.  Continuing service projects extending over long periods or for the entire school year such as library volunteers, classroom volunteers, and office volunteers.

If you plan to be a parent volunteer in your child’s classroom and are scheduled to work with children in a 1:1 or small group setting, you are required to complete a BCI/FBI background check and complete a  “Volunteer Release Form”.  You can print the attached document or pick one up in the school office.  Completed “Volunteer Release Forms” must be turned into the school office.  If your volunteer work does not include 1:1 or small group settings with children (assisting with bulletin boards, assisting teachers with copies, working the snack table at lunch), then you are not required to complete a background check or form.

The Dublin City School central office hosts fingerprint/background checks every Wednesday from 8am-4:30pm at no cost to you.  No appointment is necessary.

Central Office is located at 7030 Coffman Road, next to Coffman High School.  Background checks are good for 5 years.

You will need a valid driver’s license to complete the background check.

Fall Fundraiser — WALK-A-THON

The Walk-A-Thon is September 19 — and quickly approaching! If you would like help out and join in on the fun, please sign up to volunteer!

Kroger Community Rewards

Please make sure you are enrolled in the Kroger Community Rewards program to benefit the IRE PTO. Go to the following website and enroll your Kroger Plus Card. The school’s number is 80708 or search Indian Run Elementary. This is an easy way to raise money for our school just by grocery shopping! The more families we have signed up, the more money for our school!

This program DOES NOT affect your Fuel Points. You still accumulate and use those rewards for YOU!

PTO Membership Donations

  Indian Run PTO Membership Donation Form

 The Indian Run Parent-Teacher Organization (PTO ) offers fun, innovative and educational programming that enriches our students’ learning experience at Indian Run Elementary School.

With that goal in mind, the PTO hosts social activities like Movie Night, Bingo Night, and the President’s Day ice-skating party. We bring well-known authors, motivational speakers and musical entertainment to school. We provide grants to teachers who do innovative activities in their classrooms. We purchase Smart Boards and other technology that enhance the learning environment.  The PTO purchased a new electronic keyboard for the music room in 2014.   We are here to help make Indian Run a better school for our kids. 

Of course, these types of activities cost money.  We have several Fundraising Events during the year to fund all our efforts, but your donation would be greatly appreciated.

You can help by making a one-time, tax-deductible donation!

Every Indian Run family is automatically a member of the Indian Run PTO. Dues are not required for your children to benefit from everything we offer. Your financial support – in the form of a membership donation – will help ensure that the PTO can continue offering the programs, activities, and events we’ve all come to appreciate.

If you can help, just return your donation and the attached Donation Form in an envelope marked “PTO Membership Donation” to IRE (80 W Bridge Street, Dublin, OH 43017) by September 26, 2014.
